Boys fall at Shenandoah

After a close first half Shenandoah ran away with a 69-47 victory on Friday night. Sophomore Elijah Brock paced the Tigers with a solid “double-double of 19 points and 14 rebounds. Visnic has huge night as Tiger Men take down River!

The #8 seeded Tigers beat the #7 seeded River Pilots by a score of 56-55 in the Region 15 Boys Sectional Tournament.  The Tigers not only avenge a pair of  regular-season losses to River, but also punched its ticket to Sarahsville for a third matchup with second-seeded Shenandoah on Friday in an Eastern District quarterfinal. Jacob Visnic

Boys win in OT!

Friday night at home the Boy Basketball team won a thriller over Barnesville in overtime 65-62. Junior Korey Beckett buried a three-ball with less than four seconds remaining in overtime, capping a remarkable Tiger comeback. Fellow classmate Mason VanNest  had a game-high 24 points to go with five assists and five  rebounds. Vannest sparked the Shadyside comeback

Boys take care of Frontier

On a snowy Tuesday evening in Shadyside Junior Korey Beckett led the way with 19 points as the Tigers beat Frontier 49-38. Senior Jacob Visnic also had solid game for the  Tigers with 12 points, while freshman Ben Wach turned in 10 points.

OHSAA Releases Post Season Brackets

Girls Bracket  The LT’s are the #1 seed in the Division 4 East Sectional/District Bracket. They will play Bridgeport on February 17th at 7:00 p.m. at home   Boys Bracket  The Boys are the #8 seed and will play at River on February 23rd at 7:00 p.m.

Athletic results from this past weekend

Boys Basketball: Shenandoah  46 – Shadyside 43  The Tigers were led by juniors Korey Beckett and Mason VanNest, who went for 17 and 11, respectively. Boys Basketball dominate the Purple Riders
