Girls Softball 2016

The defending Ohio DIV state champions finally woke up the bats a little earlier than what they have so far this season.  The LT’s scored five times in the top of the third inning as they beat host Monroe Central in Woodsfield on Wednesday night.

Sophomore Kaitlyn Weaver whiffed 10 batters and walked three as she allowed 6 hits in the game.  The young pitcher also helped her own cause with a triple and and RBI.

Offensively, the bats came alive as Lindsey Dunn and Alyx Baker each had a pair of singles while Kayla Smith and Dascha Clark both provided a single and three RBI’s.
